Practice Thinker

The Cathederal

Peace Monument

Look I can hold it in my hands!

Today Auntie got up early and went to the market, when shw got back to the apartment, Gogi and she went to chirch at Nortre Dame.  After church they went to the Rodin museum  Rodin was a man who scuplted, kind of like when you have play dough and make something with it.  Rodin is most famous for a piece called the Thinker and two hands called the Cathederal.  Gogi was very happy to dinally see the Thinker.  Molly liked the thinker too.  See Molly with the practivce piece?  See how much bigger the real one is than the practice.  Then Molly , Auntie and Gogi, all walked to see the Eiffel Tower.  Molly LOVEs the Eiffel Tower.  She played and played there.  There is also a monument called the Peace Monument there, Auit and Gogi liked that alot.  Wasn't the sunset beautiful?

Saturday: Running Errands in Paris with Gogi and Auntie

Today  Gogi & Auntie  slept in.  When they finally got up, they went to run several errands.  One was to purchase a Sari for a friend of Aunites.  When they were done there, they went to Les Halles, where the old market used to be.  St. Eustache church is near there and Gogi & Auntie went in to have some quiet time.   While they were in the church Gogi helped Molly Dolly light two candles.  As they lit the candles they said a prayer, one for Daddys safety and the other one for the safety of all the other soldiers.  On the way to the next stop there was this man blowing BIG bubbles, can you see it?  Look at the baloon art that Molly saw near the Musee Picasso.  The Musee Picasso is the museum of modern art. Look at all the funny fountains outside the museum of modern art!

Next Molly, Gogi & Auntie went to the BHV or Bazar of the Hotel Du Ville.  Hotel du Ville just means the city hall.  Auntie bought some French perfume!  Just outsied the BHV is the Hotel Du Ville, see the fountains outside?  Molly  liked the cool water, but Gogi wouldn't let her go swimming in the fountains!  Can you see Notre Dame Cathederal behind Molly?  After all that walking, Gogi & Auntie called it a night and went home for dinner.

Mollys day in Park Notre Dame

Today Molly Dolly  went with Aunti and Gogi to see some sights and to PLAY!  First they went to lunch where  Molly helped Auntie decide what to have for lunch.  While they were the firemen were flushing the fire hydrants and Molly  got her photo taken by one of the Parisian Firetrucks!

On thier way to the park, they saw a picture of a lady curtseying, just like Ghianna likes to curtsey.  For a while Molly  was very good and sat with Auntie and watched the sights.  But then she got to play! They went to look at the roses that grow behind the Cathederal of Notre Dame, they sure smell good!    Molly Dolly liked the love locks on the bridge crossing the Sienr river, people put thier names on locks place them on the bridge and throw the key in the Siene to show thier love.  After dinner Molly Dolly got to have her photo taken with a police car!  She sure had a good day!

Molly Dolly and the Grand Epicerie

Today Molly Dolly got to go to the Grand Epicerie to help pick out dinner because Gogi and Auntie are having to wait in the apartment tonight on Aunties suitcase.  Look at Auntie and Molly Dolly in the elevator, Gogi says it is a Molly Dolly sized elevator, only two people can get in it at a time.  Molly likes to push the botton too, In France the first floor is really the second floor and "0" is the ground or what we call the first floor.  At the Grande Epicerie, Molly falls in LOVE with the shopping cart, she thinks it is very cute!   Molly is amazed look at the creme cheese here, she climbed right up and had a seat.  There is a whole isle of yogurt, Auntie had to get some purple (mulberry) yogurt. See it there on the top?  Look at the Molly sized packages of eggs, here they come four to a carton, how many are in a carton at home?  Even the Coke is Molly sized!  Molly wanted to ask if she can have her own bling water.  She is pretty sure, though that the popcorn is not just her size!  She could fit in the bottle!  Molly supervised dinner, There is a Coissant, a brioche, Three kinds of cheese, Brie, Swiss and Mimolette, Pate, salami and cherries.  This is all accopanied by a good red wine from a part of France called the Cahor reigon.  Aunite LOVES it as much as Mollly loved the shopping cart!  Here is a photo of Auntie and Molly Dolly enjoyig the view of the Eifferl Tower ( and a glass of wine) at sunset.  And here is Gogi having some swiss cheese!  After a fine repast Molly is helping Auntie do the dishes.
