Princess Molly Dolly at the Chateau de Vincennes
Today is the day after Pentecost Sunday. Auntie was not very happy, because it is a holiday here in France and people took the day off and closed up shop, which means she couldn’t! Look at the my size shoes we saw, I wanted to try them on, but the store was closed. So Auntie and Gogi stopped for a Lemon Tart and Tea, I wanted to play with this little girl she likes to swirl her skirt just like Ghianna does. So we went to a real castle, the Chateau de Vincennes. I felt right at home in a castle, because I am a princess to you know.
The bell I am sitting on was in the church bell for this church, also called a chapelle. I am sitting on a stone salamander, which was a symbol the French Kings and Queens used. Don’t worry it did not bite! Gogi, Auntie and I climbed up a very tall tower, Auntie held me very tights to I would not fall, but I got to see out the tower window! The tower is really part of a very old castle called the Donjon. Gogi was having fun, look at her smile! Here I am looking a the chapelle from the Donjon window. This tiny window is just big enough to put a bow and arrow through to shoot the bad guys. This guy was Charles the fifth, the one of the Kings who lived here. His people loved him very much. Can you see the stone angel playing a instrument? We got to meet this teddy bear princess. I wanted very much to play with her, but the mean man in the store would not let me! Look at who we saw while we were having a afternoon drink, Who knew Mickey Mouse would be in Paris? Do yo know that there is a Disney in Paris too?
